Angela has dedicated her life and career to art. Her passion for painting comes through in her timeless portraits of old growth trees. Inspired by humble reverence, she seeks timelessness in her work.
Versatile in a range of mediums, wwwstagwhaledesignsdotcom is a place for Angela’s imagination to come out and play. Her preference is to upcycle natural fabrics; to breathe new life into high quality articles through her whimsical designs. When asked where the name came from she states: “When the fog is low and the wind sounds like waves, the Stagwhale appears silently floating past me through my forest valley.”
Angela’s Life-long passion for art is shared with students of all ages and in the broader community. Angela was the 2017 recipient of the Shirley McGuiness Award for her public art initiatives in the Cowichan Valley. She is a member of the Collective Space in Duncan. Her works are in collections across Canada and the U.S.
